At our school, we teach science through the Kapow Primary Science scheme, which provides a rich, engaging, and hands-on approach to learning. Kapow helps us deliver a carefully sequenced curriculum that builds scientific knowledge, vocabulary, and enquiry skills from EYFS to Year 6. Lessons are designed to spark curiosity and encourage children to ask questions, make predictions, carry out investigations, and draw conclusions. Through Kapow, pupils explore key scientific concepts across biology, chemistry, and physics, with plenty of opportunities to work scientifically and learn through practical experiences. Our aim is to inspire a lifelong love of science and help every child see themselves as a scientist.
