Another fantastic week of learning!
Reception set sail with The Snail and the Whale, creating story wheels, practising number bonds to 10 and enjoying lots of summer-themed activities. From tricky word hunts in blue sand to bubbly whale paintings, water play and homemade snail playdough, there was plenty of creativity and fun! The children also got into the football spirit with their own chalk pitch and matches – Come on England!
Year 1 had a wonderful trip to Frinton Beach, building sandcastles, paddling in the sea, digging moats and playing games in the sunshine. The day finished with a well-deserved ice lolly!
Year 2 continued writing and improving their versions of Tadpole's Promise before sharing their work with partners. In DT, they designed, made and evaluated delicious fruit kebabs, using their cutting skills and trying lots of new fruits along the way!
Well done to all our children for another amazing week of learning, creativity and adventure!
