This Week at Stanway Primary School!
Year 3 have been enjoying their archery unit in PE, learning how to use the equipment safely and aim accurately at targets.
Year 4 have started their new English text Matchbox Diary, exploring the memories held inside each matchbox.
Year 5 completed their termly Maths assessment and continued their work on fractions and decimals. In Geography, they have been learning about topography and land use. Bikeability also began this week, with more sessions to follow next week.
Year 6 started reading The Boy in the Tower, using Reading Rivers and comprehensions to explore the story. In History, they've been learning about Victorian Colchester.
