This Week at Stanway Primary School!
It's been another busy and exciting week of learning across the school here's a glimpse of what our classes have been up to:
Year 3 – Fantastic Friction!
Our Year 3 children took part in a hands-on science investigation all about friction. They had great fun predicting, testing, observing, and drawing conclusions practising real scientific skills while bringing their learning to life!
Year 4 – Netball & News Reports
Year 4 have been enjoying their netball sessions this half-term, building teamwork, coordination, and confidence. In English, they have begun planning their own newspaper reports about Shackleton's extraordinary journey to the South Pole we can't wait to read them!
Year 5 – The Tempest Takes the Stage
A huge well done to Year 5, who made us incredibly proud during their class assembly. They delivered a brilliant short performance of The Tempest, showcasing wonderful acting, teamwork, and Shakespearean flair!
Year 6 – Dialogue & Design
Year 6 have been exploring the use of dialogue in their English writing, and in Art, they have been studying the work of William Morris, taking inspiration from his intricate patterns and natural forms to create their own beautiful designs.
Well done to all our amazing pupils for their enthusiasm and hard work this week.
