This week at Stanway Primary School
Year 3 had an amazing trip to Abberton Reservoir, becoming nature explorers as they identified plants, flowers, bugs and trees, learnt about pollination , and discovered how seeds are dispersed. A wonderful day of hands-on learning!
Year 4 have enjoyed exploring Jabberwocky and bringing the mysterious creature to life through their artwork . They also completed their beautiful Greek vases and impressed us with their teamwork and determination during Sports Day .
Year 5 continued their sporty week with the Daily Mile and Sports Day, showing fantastic effort and sportsmanship . They also finished Kensuke's Kingdom and presented creative proposals for new playground equipment, with exciting additions coming soon!
Year 6 wowed us with their dragon-eye artwork , fantastic performances in Gigglebox , and imaginative Theme Park projects . They also enjoyed a brilliant Sports Day, demonstrating resilience, teamwork and determination throughout.
Well done to all our pupils for a week full of learning, creativity and achievement!
