For many years, our Year 6 pupils have spent time away on a residential trip that must be the highlight of our pupils' journeys through primary school. At Stanway Primary, we visit Bawdsey Manor, a PGL centre in Suffolk. The children experience a whole range of exciting activities, including High Ropes, Leap of Faith, Raft building and Abseiling. Additionally, they learn other real-life skills which help to enable our pupils to leave primary school with good social skills, a sense of empathy and a resilience to overcome barriers.
