Class 1F

Miss Firth's Class

In 1F we have lots of fun, but always manage to get our work done.
Miss Firth our teacher likes to see, that we try to be the best we can be.
Mrs Wood is there to help us too, her favourite things are the glitter and glue!
We try to be honest, kind and fair, we’re good, we’re helpful and willing to share.
We write, we draw, we count, we play, we paint and we build and learn new things each day.

Toy Afternoon

The children in 1F had a fantastic afternoon with some of our grandparents and mums. They were very lucky to have a range of toys from the past shared with them and the chance to look and play with toys they had not seen before. The children were able to ask the adults questions to find out more information about where the toys were bought, what they were made of, how old they were etc. The children thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon and could discuss the similarities and differences with their own toys today. All the children in 1F would like to say a big thank you to all the adults who joined us for the afternoon. It was a brilliant and engaging afternoon!

Animations

In 1F we have been making animations of Little Red Riding Hood visiting her gramdma's house.  In 2Animate we made a background for the story, then we added a picture of Little Red and moved her along the pathway a little at a time in each frame until she reached Grandma's house.  Here is one of our finished animations.
